Laboratory Services

Our experienced staff of laboratory professionals provide 24/7 service for emergency room patients, hospital patients, outpatients and care center residents.

Routine and emergency testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis and transfusion services are performed using current, modern technology. Outreach and specimen collection services are available to local residents, physician offices and area businesses.

Hours for outpatient lab draws at the Cook Lab are 8:00-4:30 Monday- Friday, Saturday 9:00-12:00, or by appointment. Lab staff can be reached at 218-666-6216.

Tower Lab

The Tower Laboratory is located inside the Scenic Rivers Clinic – Tower. We are able to provide you with any Outpatient lab services you need. All you need is an order from your primary provider (doctor or nurse practitioner). Your doctor or nurse practitioner can be from anywhere, not just Tower or Iron Range area.

Keep in mind that if you need lab tests that are done on a periodic basis – such as protime/INR, thyroid, fasting lipids, and so on and you don’t need to actually see your doctor first, just call the lab and we’ll happily arrange an appointment for you.
