COVID-19 Update September 2020

All persons who enter our facility will be required to undergo an active screening process for COVID symptoms.  Your temperature will be taken and you will be asked several questions.  Everyone is also required to wear a face covering, per the Governor’s Executive Order.  We encourage you to wear your own face covering, if you do not have a face covering, one will be provided to you.

In the hospital and ER, only one visitor per patient per day will be allowed.  All visitors will be screened for COVID-19 upon arrival, following our screening protocol.  Visitors will be instructed on hand hygiene, will limit the surfaces they touch and don appropriate PPE per instructions of nursing staff.  Visitors must remain in patient rooms at all times, unless entering or exiting the facility.  Visitors should limit movement in and out of the facility as much as reasonably possible.

In the Care Center, all visitors and non-essential health care personnel are restricted, except for certain compassionate care situations, such as an end of life situation.  In these circumstances, the visitor will be screened following the same process as hospital visitors and will have to wear PPE as per our guidelines upon entering the facility at the screening station.  We are allowing outdoor visits with masks, screening and social distancing requirements.  To make an appointment for an outdoor visit, please contact our Activity Department at 218-666-6264.
