  Teresa is currently the Administrator and CEO. Teresa was hired as the Laboratory Manager in May of 1991. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN with a Bachelor’s in Clinical Laboratory Science. She attended Graduate school at the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis where she completed a certificate in Long Term Care Administration, became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in March of 2008 and completed Master in Healthcare Administration in August of 2013. In October of 2006 she became the Assistant Administrator and in January of 2015 became Administrator and CEO.

  Chief Operating Officer/ Assistant Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

  Julie Lesemann began her healthcare career in 1992 as an LPN. Graduated from Hibbing Community College in 1999 as an RN. Obtained a Bachelor of Science from the College of St. Scholastica in 2010 and went on to the University of Minnesota to become a  Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in 2018. Julie has held a variety of positions at the Cook Hospital & Care Center including: Director of Nursing- Care Center, Assistant Director of Nursing – hospital, Infection Preventionist, Emergency Preparedness chair, Safety Officer, and Risk Manager. In 2019 Julie became the Chief Operating Officer/Assistant Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and is the Risk Manager for the facility

  Kaylee Hoard

  Chief Financial Officer

  Kaylee Hoard graduated from Bemidji State University in 2003 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. Following graduation, Kaylee worked as a staff accountant for several years. She joined the Cook Hospital in November 2006 as a Controller (accountant) and moved on to become the Chief Financial Officer in 2009.

  Stephanie Maki

  Human Resources Director

  Stephanie Maki graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources. She joined Cook Hospital in February 2015 as the Executive Assistant for Administration, shortly thereafter taking the role of Human Resources Director. Prior to her employment at Cook Hospital, she worked in business/retail sales at a mobility company for over 10 years.
