COVID-19 Update July 2020
All persons who enter our facility will be required to undergo an active screening process for COVID symptoms. Your temperature will be taken and you will be asked several questions. Everyone is also required to wear a face covering, per the Governor’s Executive Order. We encourage you to wear your own face covering, if you do not have a face covering, one will be provided to you.
Visitors are not allowed into the Hospital or ER unless a patient needs a visitor/parent/support person/legal guardian due to a disability, or there is an end of life situation or critical illness/injury. In each of these instances, nursing staff will first screen the visitor using pre-approved criteria before allowing entrance to the facility.
In the Care Center, all visitors and non-essential health care personnel are restricted, except for certain compassionate care situations, such as an end of life situation. In these circumstances, the visitor will be screened following the same process as hospital visitors and will have to wear PPE as per our guidelines upon entering the facility at the screening station. We are allowing outdoor visits with masks, screening and social distancing requirements. To make an appointment for an outdoor visit, please contact our Activity Department at 218-666-6264.
